I go thru bikes pretty quick, I tell my wife I'm trying to own/ride them all before I die.
Tomorrow I pick up a 2005 Softail Classic Springer with only 7,000 miles on it, q.r. windshield, bags, not much in the way of extras,,,,. Never hurt, down, dropped, nothin' ! It's the black with burgundy on the tank bottom. I've owned a 2003 Ultra since '05, and usually a 2nd bike in the garage for mostly solo riding. Just sold a mint 2003 VROD and was going to buy a Road King, but when I saw this Springer, loving the old school look of it, well, I decided a Road King can wait 'till next time.
I hope I'm not disappointed with it. It's just to ride to work and some short 2-3 hour rides with the wife when we're not on the Ultra.

This Classic Springer looks way better in person than the pics. Plus, the guy didn't even tell me it's got the after market fishtail pipes, tho' he doesn't know the make and it's got the Power Commander and tune done already, sweet. Some little handlebar speakers and a little amp, but I don't know if they're stayin' yet or not. This bike just screams '48 Panhead, which is exactly what it was modeled after. Got pulled over on the way home doin' 65 in a 45, cop let me go, we talked about the bike more than the speed I was traveling.
Oh yeah, I was trailering the bike, didn't have anyone to take me to get it 3 hours away.
