anybody have one of these pythons 2-1 on there fat boy,i have a 2009 fb with vance n hines double barrel q series and was thinking bout getting that 2-1 pipe,i want something loud and more performance,
plus there only 485 and i get 15% off that at the stealer so it will be around 430.anybody have one on there 96in motor.
IF you want a Two into One for performance than you want a FatCat.
As far as loud goes you will run a risk of removing the performance gain if you remove baffles so resist that. Also the fatcat does in fact come with different baffles the "loud" baffle is just a perforated tube and the "Quiet" baffle is the same tube wrapped in fiberglass. I think the loud is pretty loud but I have heard louder. I had a Screaming Eagle Pro II, 2 into 1 on the bike before moving to the fatcat and it was substantially louder but I have the quiet baffle in the fatcat now.
As with anything as subjective as sound, your mileage will vary.
I agree with the fatcat. that is what I run, but they are a bit more expensive than the Python. Python is Drag Specialties brand of exhaust so they are sort of generic. D&D only makes exhaust so it is their business to make great pipes.
Fatcat nation lives on!
well i went with the python 2-1 ,i heard the pro pipe and a fat cat and the python,i liked the looks and the sound of the python as much as the fat cat and it was 300 cheaper and was only on a tc88 and it was loud and great rumble and the dealer said they been getting great numbers on the dyno from the python with stage 2.so hope it comes in this week so i can put it on,will post some pics of my 09 fat boy, plus i bought 2300 bucks in parts and chrome today.every thing was in stock except the pipe.gonna put all my goodies on tomorrow.
