Curious what kind of numbers you expect? I wonder if you wouldn't get similar numbers with a 120R engine and a good 2-1 exhaust, which would likely be more reliable and not have a freakish looking appendage bolted on to your engine. Cost would be in the same ballpark, I think.
Does anyone know if HD is able to tell how many times the ECM/TCM has been flashed?
According to the service manager here, they can't tell, but if you come in with a pro charger bolted to your engine, I guess they would know anyway ...
the boost provided by a supercharger is addictive. I have never ridden a bike with a blower, but I have driven several cars, including my own Ford Lightning (with an aftermarket supercharger) with that said, I don't think I would enjoy it on a motorcycle. But that is me. If you are used to the R1, hell more power to you (pun intended) There is also an entire section here devoted to power adders I believe. I also know a few of the guys in the touring section have done blowers and turbos....
Here was my power trip solution - I kept my Vmax when I got my Fatboy. I feel no need to make my HD fast. I did do standard stage 1 stuff but no motor mods for this scoot - just not worth it to me. I'll feed my power jones with a big serving of punched out V4. Good luck chasing your tail.

I know what you mean by the power thing. I traded my 06 R1 on my Lo. Nothing like the sound and feel of boost. I prefer the S/C over turbo though because the power is there at all rpm's as opposed to a turbo that has to spool like in my truck. I almost went with a procharger on my camaro but didn't have the rear end to handle all the power. The whine you hear from a S/C is awesome too. Good luck with the build!
I'm also curious as to not getting the 120R engine. Seems it was engineered for exactly what you are after.
The 120r engine is being 'marketed' as a drag/race motor. The build I'm doing 'technically' street leagal if anything were to come up and I were to move. Plus I just want to be different. Its a lot more common to see a crate motor than a fully built 96 cu > 110 cu. The cost comparison is about the same and the biggest thing is I'm will have the capabilities of changing the amount of boost on my own.
I bought the Hooker headers used off of ebay and hopefully will be here in the next week. The air cleaner should also arrive this week. Then both are off to be powercoated flat/matte back. I will post some pics when both are done. The thing right now that sucks is its a waiting game...
But I give anyone props who wants to buy a crate motor.
