I cover mine, and until you get your venting sorted out it wouldn't be a bad idea.
Just remember for every mile of road there is two miles of ditch. Ride safe!

I'm ****...got two covers (HD cotton & lightweight nylon). Bike's covered all the time in garage, after cooldown & during storage...

I cover both my bikes all the time after cool down. I also wipe them down with glass cleaner before I go ride.

Dust suks!

you can find a catcher for that vent at home depot type stores that will catch nearly all that lint--not expensive.

I haven't covered any of my machines in the garage because I don't see how the dust will hurt the finish other than it's looks and I have a "California duster" to brush them off when the dusty look irritates me. When I walk in the garage, I want to see my machines, not under cover.

All that moisture from the dryer wreaks havoc on metal surfaces... especially chrome. I'm surprised you haven't had issues with that.

Lots of folks are tempted to direct the dryer vent into the garage to scavenge the heat, but as someone else said, it's against code in many places.

No more than the dryer runs it can't be any worse than living in a humid climate all year long. Also try and keep the garage door up when running it. No too concerned about corrosion, just the dust. I will check into the lint catcher for sure.

Code requires that the dryer has to exit the structure you can't vent it into the garage as it's a fire hazard and as stated puts all that humidity into the garage also.
