I know that someone has the solution to this. I'm on my third set of braided oil lines on my '02 Heritage Springer. All three started leaking from the point where the braided line enters the fitting on the line that runs from the bottom of the oil tank to the engine.
Is there something that the dealer is missing, or is this just a problem with using braided lines. The fittings to the engine are tight.
Is there some type of o-ring that needs to be replaced that would stop the leak from this location?? I'm about ready to have the dealer revert back to the stock lines. By the way, all previous installations were by the dealer.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Ken
