Just wondering how you Guys set up your rear shocks? Do you set them for yourself and leave them there or do you change them when you carry a passenger? Thanks!
How much do you weight???
How much does your passenger weight?
I'm over 250 and the stock shocks at max preload were almost okay for me alone and useless with a passenger. I ended up with Progressive 422 (could not find anyone who was an installer for Shotguns around here) and set them at 50% preload for my fat a$$ alone.
I"m 230 and also run it all the way in. The MOCO states this is the setting for 260 load. I do ride two up once in a while and I know it is quite softer when I do, but I like the ride for now with the all in setting.
I will go with a shotgun eventually but savings are not filling up like they used to.
I weigh 220 and my wife weighs 120, can't afford shotguns right now either. So, I guess I'll preload them for the upper end of my weight and hope it's good enough? Bad part is, the roads around here in westerm PA suck!!
