Is it safe to use Harley Gloss on denim finish?

before they started selling the denim cleaner..that was standard.
soap/water or windex..followed by harley gloss for uv protection
does not shine it up..
used it for almost 2 yrs on my black denim flht

Yes, I use Windex, and Harley Gloss. It will not polish the paint. Harley Gloss is/was the designated Harley polish for Denim painted bikes. Works like a charm.

Main three cleaning items form my bike are: Windex, Harley Gloss and Pig Spit.

harley gloss works. Actually, I did notice a slight difference in the way mine looks compared to a newer black denim. Mine has a deeper black to it. Not sure if it was because of the Harley Gloss or the "buffing" of the microfiber cloth when wiping it down....

I just use simple green and a micro-fiber cloth.

Yeah something that cost $25 bucks for the same thing that you can get at Pep Boys for $8
