Default HELP!!! Brake Caliper

HELP!!! Brake Caliper-brake-pads-008.jpg

HELP!!! Brake Caliper-brake-pads-005.jpgOK so I just recieved my chrome front caliper from Eastern. I believe its made by midwest motorcycle supply or ultima. Part number 90-745 left caliper for 200 -2007 softails replaces hd 44046-00. I saw them all over ebay but eastern is close to me. Problem is the brake pads that came with it are configured diff than OEM brake pads. THe caliper fits om my 04 heritage with the pads that came with it which are sintered. But i run the Lyndall racing pads, and they wont fit into this caliper. WTF Here is a pic of both pads Any body have this caliper and whats the deal you have to buy a brake pad from them when you replace em. The pads that came with the caliper are on the left my Lyndalls are on the right. The pad material is on the opposite side of the metal on both inboard and outboard. Is this maybe a right sided caliper Click image for larger version

Yep bleeder is at the top ive been lookin at this thing tryin this out . PLain and simple the pads have the material on the oppositside of the metal plate as my originals and my Lyndalls. And thats how they fit into this new caliper. My old stock pads and my Lyndalls wont fit in there. Actually the way this new caliper is the single tab pad is on the outboard side and the double tab pad is on the inside Totally opposite of the factory caliper. I am going to call them tmrw im just tryin to figure out whats up this caliper so i can tell them.

The pads look like they are for a right side caliper, not left. I think someone sent you the wrong ones.

Yep thats what ithought. However I cant get my original left handed pads to fit in this caliper. Its almost like the inside of the caliper is configured for right hand application. I dont know what a right handed caliper looks like maybe thats what it is. Either way guess ill be sending it back. Charlie
