When I bought my 2008 Train it came with some Vance & Hines Big Radius Pipes & everyone has them where I live. So now I am looking for a new set of pipes. I want some that are Loud but sound good as well. Looks is 2nd & performance is 3rd. Here are some of the one's I have been looking at. Have any of you guys seen or heard any of these pipes in person? Which would you recommend?
I had a set of Fuelies on my Train but removed them. Kept hitting my leg on them. I now run a set of Bassani's with Big City Thunder baffles. Great pipes!
Loud but sound good. When yous ay sound good do you mean a nice deep rumble at idle? From your description I think you should get some Rineharts. They perform great and look decent as well. Cross Backs of their standard 2 into 2. http://rinehartracing.com/exhausts/cross-back
Call the shop for pricing. I am heading to Laughlin in 20 mintues. These really fit all your needs teh best in my opinion s as they perform great, sound great, and look great. A lot of drag pipes look cool but have a very blatty sound. Loud and good sounding are not the same in my book. It needs that deep rumble to meet the qualifications you have listed.
I love the phantoms and almost bought them over re-jethotting my pipes since my bike tipped but found out you cant go 2up with them. If you dont ever plan on going 2up and its a solo bike those have my vote... black shields with chrome pipes on a train would look sweet.

Just as an observer I really like the KAOS pipes. Don't care one bit for the Phantom! It looks like a pitcher plant is growing out of the side of a motorcycle.
