You know I'm just messin with ya! Between rain storms I am spending most of my free time on the soccer field or baseball diamond with my boy.But we will get together.Stay safe bro.
I must be weird. I ride my bike even in the rain. I look out and it's pouring and I think, "What a great day for a ride!" and do it. But I've also gotten frostbite twice for riding in subfreezing temps too. Maybe I'm just stupid...
Man, you should see my crew then. My buddy Wayne lost his leg a while ago in a wreck. He's back to riding with a prosthetic and shifting perfect with it. One day last year we were at a rest. and he went to swing his leg over it and hit the eject button on the lower half of his leg(he can switch to multiple prosthetic pieces). The bike fell over on top off him like it was in slow motion. We stood there and laughed our asses off because of the situation and knowing my buddy was fine and is one of the biggest pranksters around. Well he shouts over to us when we are all done laughing could you help me out here, which we did. Well while doing so I decided to play keep away with his leg. Just then a couple had pulled in and if you only could've seen the looks on their faces....priceless!!!! LMAO!!!!
So, yeah, I totally understand situations like that.
Actually, if you look at the background of this pic, the woman in the lime green top was positively disgusted by us, me in particular. She saw me aiming the cam at my buddy and she almost popped a muscle turning her head away from the camera.
Edit: my buddy insited I take his picture at that particular table as Anthony Bourdain sat there with Bill Murray on one of Bourdain's No Reservations episodes. Bourdain rules.
I commuted daily in the rain, glad I work at home now.
I swore I would never get spokes, because I don't want to clean them. Now that I have them on my Blackline, I'm going to avoid riding it in rain. Still have the RK for rain riding ...
