I am in the process of installing my progressive monotubes and am about to remove the old springs. How much tension is on the upper spring plug? Also, how much thread is there? I'd like to be able to kind of know when I'm getting close. I'm assuming it is about 1/4"?

Glad you didn't wait for an answer. Just take it slow and protect the caps from scratches and the rest is simple.
