I have a pair of Wiley-X Air Rage's with transition lenses, and before I had those i wore a pair of blue lens safety glasses during the day, and clear at night..worked out surprisingly well
Around here you can pick up a decent pair of non-reflective sunglasses with the foam for riding in for $10-20 in a kiosk in the mall. Or at the flea markets, local bike shops, etc. I just hate that most riding glasses that actually work give you racoon eyes in the summer.
Now that I have a windshield I just wear regular sunglasses and don't cry the whole time.

Reason: Correction
i just got a pair from bikershades.com. they are transition lenses yellow at night but get dark in the sun i have had them about a week and so far love them and they were only $50 with shipping
Here's what I use... Aside from losing peripheral vision, the round welding goggles use a two lens configuration, (green & clear) that makes transitioning to night riding easy. For a day only ride I like the wrap arounds. They come in clear, grey and green(?)lenses, and are foam padded. Both styles are vented and have the usual adjustable elastic strap. I like em cuz they're cheap but are still impact certified. But most of all the "Old School" round one's have a sinister look that works good with my winter face mask ... love pulling up next to a mini-van full of kids, (HeHe).
What do you guys run with for eye protection? I've tried RayBans but I find that my eyes water from the wind. I have a pair of 3M goggles that are OK, but they block my peripheral vision.
what style Ray Bans?
I use the Wayfarer II, they work for me.
Any type of wrap around glasses seem to make my eyes water unless they have foam.
Since I wear corrective lenses and don't want to spend a fortune on RX riding glasses, I have found Vistana OTG wrap-arounds really work great for me. They fit really well with my Vega XTS half helmet. No tearing at all.
These are the glasses I use most of the time. Got them from the Home Depot. Never have been a fan of high priced eye ware especially when these meet all safety standards. Also have the same glasses with clear lens for night riding and cloudy days. They cost $10.00 a pair. http://www.homedepot.com/Tools-Hardw...atalogId=10053
