Ok so sometime this summer/early fall Kuryakyn is coming out with their Black ISO line (the grips are already released, and they told me to check back in the summer/fall to see when the pegs, etc will be released)..
so the question is.. would passenger floorboards fit with a V&H BSS exhaust? and more importantly, would they fit with the LW 312X swingarm bag? I don't know of anyone who actually has the passenger boards installed so I haven't been able to gauge the size of them so I don't know if they would fit or not..
Not that it's critical at this moment because the broad and I broke up, so no one's riding with me at the moment.. but you never know when some lil biddie's gonna jump on the back in her itty bitty string bikini while im cruising down the avenue down the shore..
("Down The Shore"-
What people here in New Jersey call going to the beach. What some people don't get, however, is that this is more the term used to discribe the trip taken while going "down the shore" from your home in an inland county or town. The drive to whichever beach town you are going to be spending time in is going down the shore, but once you're there you simply go to the beach.)
Not sure from this pic if you can gauge where the floorboards fit, but my pipes are like the V&H straight shots and I would think the pipe side would work, you may be able to judge from the pivot pin (this is what the floorboard is braced on) how close you will be on the swing arm bag.
Sorry if I misunderstood and you were looking to add the karykyn boards. These are HD boards, I've painted them satin black and they look 100% better, match right into the frame.
I've been wondering the same thing... my wife doesn't like the passenger pegs.. looking at the HD catalog it states most of the passenger floor boards won't work... but that's because of the stock exhaust and the pegs going between the pipes.. with your pipes I'm not sure.. the upper pipe is still fairly close.. with my BRs I think I have a little more room.. my opinion is your swingarm bag should clear... but you know what opinions are worth..
Kuryakyn passenger boards will definitely work with BSS pipes. That's what I have, and I also used the Kuryakyn mount for softails. The mount is black powdercoat already, so that should help your cause. The mounts are highly adjustable for height/rotation. I can try to dig up part numbers if you need them. Really helps keep your passenger's boot off the pipe, too.
I am using Kuryakyn 4374 softail floorboard mounts and the 4455 Passenger board. You can also use the 7916 board, which mounts a little lower. If they come out in black, I'm sure the board part numbers will be a little different.
thanks for the info, im sure they'll fit above the BSS's, but i've got to take a measurement of the space i have between the swingarmbag and the primary cover, thats my big concern.
As I look at my pic and your pic, it looks like the center of the floorboard is right about where the bolt is on the fender support...looking at your swing arm bag, it doesn't look like a stock HD floorboard will work. Not sure where the rear of the Kuryaknweiothgkl boards sit in comparison to HD boards. but drawig a straight line down from the lower fender support to the edge of the bag there looks to be only a 2+" space...
thats why i wasn't really going to go with the stock HD floorboard, I was waiting for the Kuryakyn Black line to come out and use their boards, mostly to match the black ISO pegs i'm going to be putting on, and the black ISO grips i already have on.. just dont know what their dimensions will be yet

If you can find a mounted pic of them, and compare the line of the support bolt, you might get an answer. Looking at Twills' pic above of his standard, those boards sit back pretty far.
