How come when the Softail forum talk about mileage for Stock tires the number is 4-9000 miles, however there is a thread in the Touring section talking about 15-25000 miles.

To put it simply: Softail tires don't last as long.

I always get at least 10K out of my tires. No matter what brand either. I just check my pressure regularly. Now when i rode sport bikes it was a different story, but these bikes are cruisers.
