[QUOTE=stebbins17;8334412]hey im looking at buying an 06 softail standard and i was looking for some ideas and pictures of things people have done to the softail standards. the bike already has apes witch is a plus but would like to see some pics of custom and modified softail standards. thanks.[/QUOT
Is your bike have carb? Good year, I have 06' fxst carbed.
hey what kind of fenders are those i really like the look of them i think it gives the bike a low rider look.
Thanks, The fender is mounted about an inch lower in front. That really gave it a good low look. The forks are lowered another 2" (I may go lower). The rear is air ride.
The fenders are from a Heritage. Best mod I've made. When I sold the original fenders the buyer came over to pick them up, saw what I did with the Heritage fenders and questioned putting his standard back together with the bobtail and skinny front fenders. At that point money had already changed hands. No refunds sorry!
I've seen a few others on here, they'll chime in eventually. The fenders are a direct bolt on. Easy Breezy. Good luck and post pics when you get it done.
