Well, I'm sure I'll have my regrets parting with my first Harley, but I finally got my fatboy into a full blown bagger..
A 2011 Street Glide with the 103"
I've had fun with the fatboy but short rides are getting fewer and longer trips more the norm. So far, only 53 miles on the clock on the SG but it's a sweet machine!
At least now I got a blank slate to start over with.
I'll be hanging around and keeping up with what's what.. I'll have another softail one of these days, most likely a cross bones or night train, two of my favorites.
Man the new front wheel had a really badly bent rotor that was basically not replaceable since those wheels are out of production. I did find one bit they wanted 450 for it.
I think the bummer on the wheels is what pushed me over the edge. A salesman sensed my weakness and pounced, telling me all the good stuff I wanted to hear.
I got all my money back and when I tried to figure out a way to spend it, tt&l came to mind..
Its a great bike, I love street glides. Picture is a bit fuzzy, but it looks like the same paint as one at my local dealer, its a metallic paint right? I got weak knees when I saw it.
