I had a Kury one on my bike at one time, I'm not sure if it really did any good, and I always thought that it if did protect your thighs, then its trapping heat under the tank near the engine, not something I was thrilled about.
So I took it off and I don't think my legs are any hotter, but then again, I dont ride in the south, so maybe its more effective south of the Mason/Dixon.
Just ordered a set from the RJSOriginals (No More Fried Thighs) this week for my new '07 fatboy. Hope they don't look too bad - they are definately smaller than the Captns. Bad time to buy my first bike in like 25 years - heading into Summer in South FL and spend almost as much time at lights as rolling (I've been told my machine has a sixth gear), so I figure anything I can do to make it more enjoyable - rock on! Cheers, Kevin.
