I've seen a lot of info floating around on this forum about solo seats and installation. I figured once I get my crap together I'll post it. The install will be on a 00 FXST. I recently purchased a solo seat from "Sinister" EBAY store and have the West Eagle Solo conversion kit on the way. The actual seat measurements are 13 1/2" long and 10 1/2" wide, the rear posts on the seat are 7" the front posts are 3" and the far front to rear post is 8 3/4"
Details to follow when UPS brings me cool stuff.

Reason: pic disappeared
I have this thread on my 01 FXST Installation.
I used sinister seats at one point, but got a different seat which I like more with more raise in the back
Cool.. I have posted an album and will sort through and organize the install pics very soon. Only snag was the springs were tough to line up. A bit more "fore to aft" tension than anticipated. It's all done but the clean up.
Cool,
Springs never line up, this is why the kit i had was a bless it allwed me to drill extra holes in the cover and mount different springs in different places.
