Hell of a job!!! Im usually not an apes type of guy. I sat on a blackline at the dealer and I was thinking drag bars maybe under the triple tree just to be different. Your apes look awesome, as well as the tank!!! Looks like a hell of a lotta fun to ride. Have fun and great job!!!
colemanfu, I got the spike oil cap on ebay I dont remember from who though.
corbyn, I work at a shop in the evenings and I do custom work at my shop at home. let me know if you want to get some bars done on your bike too.
joe_carrera, I dont have a part number for the seat but its a Le Pera bare bones for a 2011 fatboy the mounting bolt is in a different spot but other than installing a new insert it fits perfect. And post some pics of your bar build Id love to see what others are doing about the bars.

Jay, first of all i would love to comment on your new bars...very nice! I have had apes from a prior bike and when i bought my blackline i have been trying to figure out how to mount them (pull back risers and what not). I love the idea you came up with and i noticed that you replied to corbyn in regards to getting bars on his bike. I do most of the work on my bike but my welding skills are lacking ever since i got out of shop class in HS! I would love some specifics, like pricing and what not and what needs to happen. The idea of cutting and welding your RSD apes are unique. well done! your bike looks sick.
Jay:
just wondering what length your RSD King Apes are, 16" or 19"? I am getting ready to purchase some Carlini bars and don't want to get the bars to short. If your offer is still on the table I will shoot another message once they get in, it will probably be around mid august.
