Default Audio Systemfor a Deluxe?

Looking at possibly getting some type of audio system for my 2005 Softail Deluxe. Considering either HD's Boom Audio, Cycle Sounds Premium Sound System, or J&M Handlebar Speakers. Like the look of the first two better, but they have amps that need to be attached to the bike. Heard that the Boom Audio might not be too good if I ride without a windshield (which I do often). Dr. V-Twin has the J&M and they sound good, but not to keen on the looks. Any suggestions or feedback on any of them who have them?

I got the cycle sounds 3 inch speaker system on my bike. Pretty easy to install. Can hear it really well at all speeds with the windshield on. Without the shield it starts to fade out around 50 mph.

Whatever you decide let me know and I should be able to save you some money. My vote is for J&M, then Cycle Sounds, then Harley. The Harley boom,s are designed the same as the Cycle Sounds speakers, they were modeled after them.

I have the boom windshield mounted one. I love it, but I don't think the handlebar mounted version with no windshield on would be loud enough at highway speeds.

I've got the Pyle handlebar mounted speakers with the 200w amp. It's fine behind the windshield, but I wish I had sprung for the 300w amp for highway speeds.
