Amsoil ?..in ALL three holes? Dealer gave me option for dino or synth-No..I'm not going to..but I told him synth.
After I got off the phone..I thought..did he mean Amsoil in the tranny as well?..and what Amsoil goes in the tranny? Thought you needed specific oil specific to each "hole"
He mentioned "same oil" in all three holes makes it easier...
Not really sure...can you use just one "oil" in all three?
Don't want to show up on saturday with a "deer in the headlights" look!
And finally..I chose synth because I think its worth it for the bike.
Thanks for the comments and help in advance...and apologies from the newbie...just want to be informed!
you sure the dealer is gonna use amsoil i would bet hes talking about syn 3 you might as well put in the dino as spending that extra money on syn 3 its mostly dino oil anyhow.
Amsoil does not have a dino option.

The options were dino or synth (the synth being Amsoil). I didn't know the dealer had Amsoil-thought they pushed syn 3
That is odd...my stealer always pushes syn3, which I always opted for., in all three holes..... don't even think they carried amsoil. I am done with the stealer and will be doing service myself using amsoil 20-50 in the engine and primary and 80-140 in the tranny.
