I think the Fat 50 Spoke wheels will look great on your bike. Initially I thought they only looked good on the Deluxe, Heritage and Fatboy. Then I saw them on a few other bikes and changed my mind. I agree with what a few people have said either go mostly black with the chrome nipples or just get black hoops and hubs and the rest chrome. I dont think I would mix the red into the wheel. I do think red and black look great together and compliment one another well but on the wheel it could be a bit much. I could see black wheels on a bike with red tins but not red and black on the same wheel.
I still think black and chrome or just a twinge of red to make it stand out. They is not to go overboard on the colors. Another option is chrome with red spokes like mine with the red pin striping. But when I see the red and black rim on Ride Wrights site it is too much.
Will a 23" front wheel be too much with my drag bars? Should I stick with the 21" wheel? I don't want Chrome so looks like all black with Chrome nipples is the way I'm leaning. Any other ideas just throw them out. Plan on getting the Cobra II headlight too.
I think the black will work well. You can do a 23" but if you want a front fender you will need a new one. My personal opinion on the 23" is that it is HUGE! I am yet to see a train in person with a 23", but Story 808's look pretty slick.
Front fender is coming off no matter what. I have never seen a 23 in person. Buddy of mine said that there are only 2 or 3 in town but there on baggers. I don't want it to be over kill though & not sure how it will look with drag bars.
PW keep in mind when you go with 18/23 combo it's gonna raise your bike higher than it is now.It appears you haven't lowered yours at all. Both mine and Story's bike both have 4" inch drops on them.G.

The rear of mine is lowered but I see what you mean.
