Nice ride, and I agree on the axle covers looking out of place. They belong on Ben Hur's Chariot. I think some clean chrome ones would fit the whole look.
That my buddy has and it really makes this thing shine. I wash it once a week now if riding as I cannot have my new rims getting messed up. Got a blaster to dry it http://www.autoanything.com/car-care...2-001b2166becc
and it makes easy work of a full wash now. I have the time to wash it during work so I am lucky. I have found there is no replacement for regular washing. It helps that my buddy is a professional photographer too.
The seat is a C&C low profile solo with a custom diamond stitch pattern in red. It is really comfortable and I absolutely love it.
Drew
I just worry about the rust. So I don't usually wash it with a hose too often. That most likely is part of my problem. I will try out this wax. Used to use a different product from them on one of my old show cars.

Drew, Your sled looks way better stripped down. You dont have all that crap on there hiding the old skoo beauty. I gotta get the shotgun. It looks sick lowered that much. Can you actually ride it that low in the back? Good job.
