redneck harley??
i am not against making things rather then buying,,but, pictures dont do it justice,,i would not put my life in danger over a set of 100.00 bars,,i build hot rods for a living,i love rat rods,,but there are limits to everything when it comes to safety,,,
+1 on not cool talking down about another mans ride. At least he rides. There are too many, even on this site, that have 01 or 02 bikes with under 2000 miles. I respect this guys ability to make it work and get out and ride. I'm more safety conscience but as long as he is good with it and nothing falls off, more power to him.
I can dig it. Anyone willing to make their own. MUCH better than buying over priced sh*t and then parking it in your garage. I remember seeing an old shovel where a guy used hose clamps and plexi glass to put a shield on his apes. He said he had been running it for years now.
Tell him to take the reflectors off those front forks, it'll make a world of difference (did mine Monday).
To each his own, it is a harley and he is riding. So that's +2. Taste is subjective, he might love it and that's all that matters.

+1 and not very big on calling someone 'red neck' either
.
There is a strong possibility this guy is a better rider than most of us here
