2200 miles into my 110ci upgrade I notice my starter is beginning to sound kinda weak (7900 total miles). My understanding is that there isn't much compression difference between the 96 stock and the 110 kit (9.2:1 vs 9.3:1) and I do hear the compression releases opening when I turn on the key. Question to you folks who have the 103 or 110...did you begin to have starter issues? If so, what brand and spec starter (1.4kw or 1.6kw etc) did you upgrade to? Thanks in advance.
