I'm 5'11" and put the Kuryakyn 3" extended forward controls on my fat boy. I love them.
That really looks good....
I've had forward controls on all my Harley's (since back in the 1970's), and recently purchased an '03 Anniversity Fatboy. Should arrive within a week or so.
I ordered a set of the frame mounted Cruise Arm IV's, but have been considering the conversion to forward controls. Guess I could always sell the Cruise Arms if I don't use them.
Was the Kuryakyn plus 3's pretty much a bolt on setup? Someone in an earlier post mentioned a possible mounting problem with the stock kick stand, but I assume that's taken care of with the parts in the Kuryakyn kit.

Damn those forwards rulz!!! The kit from Kuryakyn is $600 a little too much for forwards, rather save those bucks for my new rims, the forwards will come later.
Answering the question above, the HD softail std do fit the Fat Boy but they WON'T fix your estretching problem they'll make it worse, I've tried those.
I'm going to put them on mine but I'm waiting until I run out of floorboards. I figure when I scrape them down to nothing, I'll go with the forward controls.
Hi, i have a FLSTI 2003 with engine guard. the cuestion is: The Floorboard eliminator forward control kit, function with my engine guard? thanks
I'm going to guess that they won't fit with an engine guard, because they're based on their extended controls.. but I could be wrong. Not so sure it'd look right anyway.
