Default Fatboy Forward Controls

Can you give me an opinnion on whether or not to do this? I have an 05 fat boy and I also have pm forward controls which I purchased sometime back. I'm just not sure whether they look right on a fat boy. Also I'm 5' 8" so it would strictly be a look thing for me. Anyone have them on a fat boy?

Geez, look I'm 6'3" and I have my doubts on purchasing the Kuryakyn kit which is 3" extended.

Good luck on your mod.

Regards.

I just put them on mine they look good it is a nicer ride since I have drag bars with an 8"pullback it make it more comfortable to strech out.

I was too cheap (yeah yeah as usual) and did cruise arms instead.
I've seen forwards on fatboys.. I think they look pretty darn cool actually.

If you've already done the hard thing and forked over the cash for a set, I say DO IT! And I wanna see pics!

Hey, here would be a great opportunity to create a DIY thread on the installation.. swapping out floorboards to go with forwards.

It is not a lot of work just some trial and error stuff with the kick stand it uses a whole new mounting system.

Are the factory controls considered foward or mid controls.

I'm 5'11" and put the Kuryakyn 3" extended forward controls on my fat boy. I love them.

I say go for it. They look cool and the ride is just as comfortable IMO. Put a set on my Springer Classic. Kinda of the same deal as the fat boy as far as looks go.
