Hey all, new to the forum, been lurking for months. I just picked up a 2008 Cross Bones w/ 500 miles on it last week and I want to put new exhaust on it already. I previously had a Nightster w/ V&H short shots staggered which I liked (neighbors didn't) but just saw a pic of a Cross Bones w/ the RSD Tracker on it and love the look. I was wondering how many people run the RSD Tracker and w/ what combo of air cleaner and fuel injection module you use.
I've read that you lose the rear passenger peg on the right side when you put the RSD Tracker exhaust on the bike. Has anyone been able to relocate it anywhere. I need to keep the wife happy.
Great choice on the Cross Bones. I just picked up a 2011 Cross Bones two weeks ago. I ended up putting V&H Big Radius pipes with an SE Heavy Breather and am really happy with the look. Congratulations!
X Bonz with stock pipes has a relocator plate for the pegs. When I installed my V & H BSS I had to relocate them to the holes that already on the frame. I don't know if this will work for you. Good luck.
I just bought a 2008 Cross Bones a week ago surprisingly enough it has the RSD Tracker exhaust and a RSD air cleaner installed with a TTS master tune EFI kit and was dyno tuned. All I can tell you is it run great and hauls a- - . Hope this helps.
