Default EVO intake valves....

I just had the top end done on my 84 evo softail. To make a long story short. After getting the bike back, it started making some strange noises. Sounds like lifters, maybe pushrods, don't know. Looking at my receipt and parts replaced and part numbers, I find out that the intake valve part number is for a Rowe intake valves for a 99 to 06 twin cam motor. My question is, are evo and twin cam intake valves the same? Or do I have a problem....

I think that's a good idea...google " Are Evo valves and twin cam valves the same?" with quotes.
Read the very first google book at the top of the page

Pretty sure if the motor is running..you don't have a valve problem. Evo's can be noisy...especially if you are listening too hard. Have you had the person who did the work listen to it?

I took it in for exhaust smoke. Other than that it was running good. Not noisy at all. Now it's embarrassing. By smaller, does that mean the the stem diameter, the stem length, or valve diameter. Thanks for the info.
