Default Help: Lowering a Crossbones

Hey All;

I saw a few older posts on this but I was wondering if anyone had any further information. I lowered my crossbones 1" with a aftermarket kit. I ended up blowing a chock in the process so I removed it. Has anyone had any long duration luck with a kit they have installed? I ride 2-up maybe 1 out of 15 rides but I need it to hold when I do. Furthermore, I would like to get it down a full 2" if not 1.5" I'm definaly not in the market for a air-ride system. I'm looing for a cheaper solution, that is if it exsists.

Thanks
