I am done. I have searched on this forum and google and I just can't find an answer. I am looking for a passenger peg relocation answer if there is one out there, I know I have got to be missing something but I just can't find it.
Here's what I have right now.
wife = 5'2"
bike = 2008 Deluxe
V&H big shot staggerd
Right peg moved up to the capped off threaded hole above pipes (and original peg location)
Left peg in normal position which puts it lower than the right peg.
Just got a Mustang wide touring 2-up and it sits her up higher.
With the new Mustang seat she complains she really can't reach the pegs solidly.
I need to move the pegs up at least 2" higher than the right side, preferably higher for her liking.
Anybody got any ideas?
I put these on my 08 FatBoy, the wife is real happy with this setup now. They should work perfect for your situation. My sig pic is outdated I could take a picture for you of the passenger peg setup if needed.
You can get the adjustable foot pegs for a Rocker for your Deluxe. My wife is 4'11" and could not reach the pegs very well where the stock pegs are located.
Hey guys thanks for the input, I was so burned out yesterday.
Two votes for the Harley peg relocation and one for the Kury. I personally don't like Kury stuff but I do like the idea of covering the pivot bolt and it does look longer. Problem is the website says it fits only up to 2007 softails.
Was there some sort of geometry change on the swingarm starting at 2008? Or does anybody have a 2008 or newer softail with the Kury adjustable peg?
bucholj, if you wouldn't mind a photo I would love to see how it looks.
