Default Speedo quit

I own a 08 Heritage and my speedo quit working . Can someone tell where on the bike the speed sensor is located.

It's in the manual.

The vehicle speed sensor is located on the transmission just behind the transmission top cover.

take an allen wrench and losen sensor from the trans, u cant miss it...(its on top)...
pull out sensor and wipe off with a rag...
reinstall...
might work might not...but all ways start with the simple...
not to long ago on eway i was only reading 40 miles per hour, and thats all i had to dot to get it right....

You can see it from the right side of the bike. Looks a bit tight in there (see pic) ... Supposed to torque the bolt to 84-108 in-Ibs (9.5 - 12.2
Nm)
