Default Which fan?

My 07 nightrain 113ci engine runs hot while sitting in traffic so I was looking at adding a oil cooler and a parade fan. Im looking at big sky parade fan and lenale parade fan.

Whats your guys thoughts on the 2 fan companys and who has a better product?

Yes sir. I have been running mine for about 4 months now. I don't have a temp gauge on my bike but I do notice the bike runs much cooler. You can hear the fan when it is on and it comes on when hot out. I recommend it. The only thing that is a little tricky is getting the oil filter off for oil change without spilling, but it's tricky doing that with the stock configuration as well. And...you don't need a special filter wench with the cutout for the crank position filter as the filter is raised up higher.

I definitely recommend this mod. Some people were concerned about it getting wet. No problem with that either as I wash my bike once a week. PM or email me, or just call teh shop and we can get one on it's way to you.

If heat is a problem while you are sitting in traffic? One of our Crotch Coolers would definitely help you out..

Awesome I will take an overheating rear head and throw some leather over it. That should cool it down some.

I thought the same thing when I first saw that product, but I really don't think it's gonna make much of a difference. There's no airflow around the rear cylinder or oil bag at idle anyway, so draping a small piece of leather over the area can't significantly affect oil temps, but i'm sure it'd make a noticeable difference on the heat level on your leg.

If you can hold off a few weeks there will be an anoucement that the major oil cooler company is adding a fan assist to their softail line and it will be a 10 row instead of 6 row
