lol...I was speaking of taking the "discoloration" off...not the whole oil tank!

But...I sent the pics to the dealer..and he said..it wasn't a problem..(yeaa..what else was he going to say anyways..right?) he also mentioned what you guys stated..plus..maybe some of the original dino..cooked off?

Either way...going to keep an eye on it..(it hasn't got an worse) and in a few weeks...going to do my first oil change.

i think cpiad was refering to the ability to remove a K&N oil filter with a socket and ratchet vs. a standard oil filter needing a filter wrench or strap... lol
