voodoo93, how did you mount that chrome tool bag? (both sides)
My first post in this forum. Hey, please don't bust my b*lls for being a bagger. My wife just got a new 07' Deluxe, really sweet ride. Question for you softail folks, What do you use to store your stuff, both small and big? First of all, stuff like sunglasses, lic, reg, insurance card, and maybe gloves. I know you can put saddle bags on these, but they look real good without them too. Pictures will help alot, thanks guys.
For just "day-packing", If I have the windsheild, the windsheild bag holds a lot of small stuff. The chrome teardrop toolbox holds tools and the pouch for the lens-swap for the goggles/shades. Any more than that and I gotta throw on the sissybar bag which crams fairly good for a weekend. If I had to pack more than a big sissybar bag and saddlebags, I start rethinking the junk I'm carrying.
The big bags should pretty much bring me up to bagger storage capacity.. 14"x8"x22" Their leather replacement bags for tourbikes isn't much bigger. With those along with the sissybar bag, it should load up as much as any full bagger with luggage rack. Hard part is getting the huge bags on some softails.. Not too many makers of superlarge bags, and fatboys like mine require some rear signal modification and of course stock pipes won't cut it.
Here's a couple of pics of the toolbox.
Cheers!

Reg - ditto.
Insurance Card - er, wallet.
Gloves - they go on my hands.
Tools - Leatherman in my pocket, tools on my belt.
If you're haulin' much more, that's what cages are for..
Clammy, that's clever painting them to match, makes them nearly invisible.
Good Job.
Cheers!
