Currently have a 2004 Softail Standard (FXST) with a stock fat-boy seat on it. If I'm going further that about 70 miles my tailbone starts to go numb and start aching. I think I need a seat that has more of a "notch" where my tailbone is at, but don't know what I want to go with. I am 6 feet tall and just want to be comfortable on long rides. Any suggestions?

C&C seats. The best for the money. Google them...call Chuck Gallegos ... great people. The quality will knock you out. Makes MOCO seats look and feel like shtt. I put on a brand new C&C seat...went 150 miles....and I could have kicked myself for not getting one the day I brought my bike home. No azz pain ... no back pain anymore.
I looked at C&C's website and i'm not sure they have anything I would like. I'm not completely opposed to them, just wondering if anyone else has any recommendations?
Anyone running a Mustang Wide Vintage solo w/ rider backrest? By the photos and description it seems like it would fit the bill, but not sure about the price. Any input?
I own a C&C seat. It is a nice seat for the money... That being said, it is very very firm. If you want something softer, then you'll probably be better off with the Mustang. They are expensive though. If you don't want to spend a lot of cash, then you might get someone to modify your current seat for you. I've also had this done. Definitely the best bang for the buck.
Do your saddles have the Gel Insert Spike95? Am looking at those for my '09 Crossbones, wandering if they'll be more comfortable than the stock or Custom HD Seat Program Seat I have

Reason: For clarification
I have the mustang vintage wide for my touring seat. Love it. But it is rather large and only use it when touring. Back rest is down in the pic as well. I run a Le Pera maverick in town and on day trips unless the wife is with then the mustang.
