Thank you for the pictures. Was that an expensive conversion to do? And you're running detachable hardware, assuming for a backrest?
I guess it depends on what is expensive. I never tallied my totals. I bought the bags from a guy here on the forum for 400 dollars. He had some hardware with the bags already. I probably had to spend another 150 in hardware. Most of the screws I just got from the local hardware store. The bags were completely unassembled when I got them. My brother is a painter so he painted them for me for free. I have no cost in them for paint. The bracket from cycle vision was around 200 off of ebay I think. I bought it a while back. So I guess... around 750 in it total (high estimate) over a 6 month period.
The detacheable is for the sissy bar. When the wife rides. I have a c&c sport tour also that I put on then. I like the look of these bags a lot. So much so I am putting my Heritage bags up for sale here soon.

Sorry to go off topic. But is that the new Rush 2n1 on your Heritage? It looks better on your bike than their web site. How do you like the sound, performance, etc?
If it's not too much trouble, could you post some pics of the pipe from the side and from the back? I'd like to see how close they fit against the engine, trans, frame, etc.

That is a D and D Fatcat on Brads bike....it has the longer muffler(Heritage). They fit pretty tight and one of the best performing pipes on the market!
I am sure Brad will see this soon and maybe get ya some pics too.
Thats what I'm looking for. When you find some time can you post some info on where you bought, cost, bag size, did you have to relocate turn signal ?and did you have to buy a bag kit for the heritage model ?
