Best after market calipers ?

Another option is the XR1200 caliper which has the exact same internals as the Honda Fireblade. They also share the same brake pads so you can purchase inexpensive great brake material pads all over the world. The mounts are the same as the old style twin cam so they are direct bolt up. If you have some size laced wheels such as a 19" which the bulky caliper will hit the spokes. You can also purchase adapters and use 320mm rotors.

Yes, you can bolt them up to a Bagger or a twin cam Dyna and they cost only $185 at HD.
I am going down to PM's shop on Friday and I will ask for more clarification while there.

That's the way I understand it also. I have the PM 6 pistons and the braided lines, but I'm still running a HD chrome MC. I have noticed better braking with the set up I got over the 4 piston. My next braking improvement will be the PM MC.
you got a go fast bike,,, you need STOP FAST BRAKES
what he's doing there at MM with Carbon Fiber wheels, the MMC rotors, ect is like light years ahead of the competition
will be bolting on a new set of chrome wheels, along with the MM rotors & a new Brembo front caliper ( again, NOT the harley Brembo option )
will post up some photos then
i'm sure PM makes some good stuff,, but it'll look just like the 20k other bikes that are running it,, NOT for me
thanks Howard for hookin me up

Very easy to install. Did not have to replace any of the stock
OEM parts (Master cylinder, brake line).
Bolts right up...actually gives the brake line a little more slack, but not enough to be noticed.
I bled the brake line myself.. very easy although a second set of hands
would help.
Very good lever feel... much better then stock... Haven't had to do a hard stop yet.. but it does have better stopping power....
Would recommend if you want to upgrade you front brakes.
