Default easy brackets... leather saddlebags

Anyone out there know if the Easy Bracket or Ghost Backet will fit the Deuce original leather saddlebags as a direct bolt on? If so who might have the best prices. Thanks

I used easy brackets on my '04 Heritage. If I remember right, I had to drill at least two holes on each bag. There are 4 bolts for each side to hold the bags on. Not sure if that will be the case on your model, but you probably will have to drill.

I installed EBrackets on my 97 Heritage. I love them: easy on/off, good locks, and look great on and the hardware showing when off IMP looks better than Ghost Brackets. They were easy to install and I bought them off a distributor off eBay. Good Riding!

Thx. for the input guys. I read about the drilling part on the Easy Bracket site. I just wanted to know if another Deuce owner has done it without any drilling on the, LEATHER BAGS. My question is, will the brackets line up with the existing holes on the bags, or is drilling the holes a must?

If you have a quick release sissy bar, do the brackets/bags sit farther out than the ones made not to accept the quick release. Any pictures would be helpful. Thanks

I wish I knew the answer to your exact question. I have the easy brackets, but I do not have HD bags. Mine are Fox Creek Leather bags. I had to drill 4 hole in each bag, but I have no idea if the hole pattern is the same as the HD pattern. I can tell you this however... using the easy brackets (which ARE different for deuce, get the right ones) I did not need to relocate the rear signals. The bags fit without relocating.

I used Easy Brackets on my 07 FatBoy & ran into the same thing you did. They mount very far forward & at an angle. It take a little thinking & creativity to mount the bags.
