They look much better IMO, good choice. Get an extended brake pedal on there to so that you can use that floorboard, the stock pedal doesnt allow you to make use of a lot of the floorboard

Not a fan of the diamond plate either, but then again, my bike is blacked out (sorta). I really like the half moons that are standard on the FBL, but I can see how they would not look good on a standard chromed out Fat Boy. Are the Deluxe boards shakers too? I can't remember. Either way, they look much better than the diamond plate IMHO.
I'm going with the majority here too. I like the smoother look. I too am getting away from all the skulls and stuff and goin with a smoother look. Keep the new ones!!!!!
