I haven't had to buy new tires yet, I'm sure Drew will get on here no later than tomorrow and let you know where the good places are.. but Motorcycle-Superstore.com is constantly having sales on tires, especially if you sign up for their newsletter emails
Dennis Kirk. They will match anyones price and beat it by a dollar.
I bought 2 OEM Dunlops and tubes for my softail for $251 delivered. $25 to the local indy to mount them off the bike.
Of course a week later I am looking a a local HD web site and they say they have the cheapest tires in town. ($275 mounted). Just my luck.

+1 just bought mine here 2 wks ago sale + free shipping and speedy delivery.
Overall, I have found Dennis Kirk with the lowest prices. Tire prices fluctuate so check around. Dennis Kirk may have the lowest prices today and American Moto Tire may have the lowest prices tomorrow, then Jake Wilson may have the lowest the next day.
I just came in from the garage and sat down to look for a new rear tire. I had been running Metzler's but they have gone up in price so much I looked around and tried the Dunlop Elite 3"s. I went with the MU90HB-16, which is the 140 width and it handles great and I got about 16,000 out of the rear, which is amazing. Just priced Dennis Kirk: $122.99 and Jake Wilson: $118.99
A year ago I payed $102.00 from DK
J&P Cycles has good prices and are running sales on tires all the time. They stock most sizes of the Metzlers and Avons. Their service has always been excellent. Just another option. . .
