Default healing

I had a cager change lanes and stop in front of me on May 16. I had to dump it to keep from hitting them. Dislocated my right thumb and tore the ligamemt holding the thumb in place. Got my cast off today and released to go back to work next week. It is a good day. Waiting on new tank and fender from MoCo. All other parts are here. Ready to get back on but, a little nervous. I didnt cause the last one and dont want to go through it again. It is time to start wearing a helmet though. Made a believer out of me.

Great to hear you're good to go. I can imagine it would be hard to get back on the saddle, but I couldn't imagine not riding. Hope the bike goes back together good for ya.

I am healing also. I had a cager slam on his brakes in front of because he was not paying attention to traffic. I managed not to hit anyone, and I did not lay the bike down but during my sliding and maneuvering my right foot popped off of the footpeg and hit the ground and folded behind me. I broke my tibia at the knee. I won't be able to ride for a while. But I am buying more parts while I am healing. I can't wait to get back on the bike. I hope you are healing well.

Been healing myself and waiting for the bike to be finished. They thought it was finished yesterday, but not so. Had to wait for my lower leg bones to heal and get strong enough again. Truck took my lane and came over on top of me..... no fun, but ready to jump back on. I too will be riding with a helmet. Didn't hit my head, but sure was thinking about it all the way down to the pavement! Just ordered a Lick's NovDot.....
Hope everyone else is helaing well and can get back in the wind again soon!
