Looking for a good lift for both 04 fatboy and 4 wheelers. Anyone have a favorite that they are currently using or have used in the past. thanks

I tried the one from Harbor Freight ($130'ish... on sale for less then $100). Works great getting the bike up, but AWEFUL when it comes to lowering the bike. It is supposed to have 2 speeds for lowering. Only speed I saw was "Slam It". It just drops the bike to the ground. I took it back, tried another one... same thing! I am looking for a new one too, so I will keep an eye on this thread for sure!

I bought a Craftsman on sale @ Sears and love it. It has the removeable handle so you can walk around it when working on it. Has foot controls for raising and lowering so there is no twisting any handle for that "slam to the floor" effect when lowering it. I've used it on my Street Glide and my brothers Road Glide and can move the bike anywhere around the garage while on the lift. Works great for winter storage to keep tires off the floor. Not bad for about 80 bucks!

Do you want a lift (table) or a jack? Different animals.

Start with the best and never regret it.

+1 on a Craftsman. I use mine for my Sportster, FatBoy and my Son's Honda four wheeler.

I have some friends in DE that just purchased two of the sears units. They are loving the features. Both of them said to buy the lift(jack stand) that is one price level down from the top. One of the guys bought the best and it was clumsy and difficult the next one down was smooth and easy to operate. I think they said it was like $120. Just a thought, you might find one to look at in your local store.
Good luck with it.

I use the High Position Motorycle Lift from Harbor Freight. It's well built and sturdy, and lifting and lowering is a piece of cake. Only two drawbacks: You can't work on both sides of the bike at the same time and you have to be careful when the forks begin to lift the bike. I found out the hard way when I put a small dent in one of the heat shields for the exhaust.
