Default Vibration noise from Speedo...(ROCKER)

Has anyone else experienced a vibration noise coming from the speedometer at certain rpm's? I have an 08 Rocker and when I reach certain rpm's I get this annoying rattling sound coming from the speedometer unit. I know it's coming from there because when I grab it, it stops. The speedo unit itself does have a little play in it when I try twisting it back and forth. I have taken it off, but unfortunately, i see no way to tighten it up. Any ideas?
Thanks

check the plastic piece that attaches to the back of the speedo its held by 2 screws they may be loose or maybe the plastic part is damaged

Mine made a buzzing sound after I powder coated the dash. I had to take it apart again, and the plastic clip that holds the speedo in had come off of the lip of the cup it sits in. I had to remove some of the powder coating to make it clip on properly again. No big deal.

my 08 does this also, i hate the vibration!! i looked for 6 months before i found it. i took the console off and see the spedo is mounted by two plastic clips. dont know what to do, thought about removing the spedo and putting some blue RTV (silicone sealer) on all the contact points and reinstalling. maybe the rtv would dampen some of the vibrating.
i am open to any info also.
thanks

just remove it, having a speedo is overrated... just tighten it up that should do the trick..

If it was that easy, it would have been fixed by now. Unfortunately, the speedo is held in by 2 clips...you can't just "tighten it up"

Ok looked at mine since it sitting on the work bench.. here are a couple of ideas..... Ready 1. repalce gasket, with time it wears down 2. heat up tabs and flare them out to give it a more snug fit or do both that should do the trick..... ahh

Yup its not that big of a hole...
