One more question. What year springer bars are you running on your newer deluxes? I have been looking for the springer bars but for some reason it seems they only go up to the early 2000's. I just want to make sure all of them fit or is there certain years you are using.
Thanks in advance

I'm looking to possibly put the springer saddlebag guards on my Deluxe. I realize this is an older thread. Does anyone know if there is a new part # for them? I can't find the part # listed in this thread (49258-00a for the Springer) for sale anywhere.

I also tried and they are no longer available from HD. Turns out they wouldnt work with my bags anyway. I may make a pair and use larger diameter pipe than the springer ones and have them chromed.

Default Where on ebay?

JefferiesHD1 Can you give us a link to those guards you found on ebay? I'm having trouble finding some that will work with the deluxe seat rail and be compatible with the toolbox as well. I'm running vance and hines short shots so I'm not worried about the exhaust hitting. The ones on the HD website right now for the Deluxe say that they won't work with the tool box. Has anything tried those? Will the bars for the heritage softail from the website work? I'm a little confused form the responses on here.

Yes, the bars for the Heritage will work with the toolbox.

Bone Doc,
Thanks for the reply. I think someone mentioned it earlier, but the heritage guards WILL NOT fit with a stock seat because of the rail, correct? There's a bunch for sale on ebay that are for the Springer, but it says 97-99 FLSTS. As I may have mentioned, I'm working with a 2012 FLSTN.

Like this for example... http://www.ebay.com/itm/SADDLEBAGS-G...ZZE9e~&vxp=mtr

If my theory is correct, if you're running a stock seat, an aftermarket exhaust, and a tool box, this is really the only option.
