I own a 2011 Herritage. I have put in an high flow ac, HD supertuner and dyno, and it as cycle shack exhaust. I love the High end power I recieved. But I lost the troque and power in the low to mid range.
I am looking to get the low to mid back without putting in cams or going back to stock config.
Is their an exhaust system out there that is designed to give you low to mid range torque and power and still allowing the sound out of the bike. I have read allot of claims to do this, but at this point I dont buy it.
I know I need back presure to give me the torque at lower rpm, and I know that back presure dammens the sound wave and quites the bike. Is there an exhaust system out there that has the correct balance between the 2?
I hear that the D&D Fatcats 2 into 1 system is the best compromise between low-end power and sound. I don't have one, but if you do a search on them, you will find tons of into on this forum. Good luck with the search.
A 2 into 1 exhaust will always yield much better low end torque. D&D fatcat, Thunderheader, V&H propipe, Bassani Road Rage, Rinehart 2 into 1 and the list goes on.
