Default Big Bore Kit

My 06 Softail Deluxe went into the shop yesterday for the stage 2 1550 kit. I also am having a Race Tuner installed. I should have it back on Friday. I can't wait to get it home!

May I be so bold to ask you what the cost is to do that upgrade? I have an 05 Deluxe and have been thinking about it too.

Does that upgrade include a cam change?

Cams, heads, cylinders, pistons, rings, performance clutch spring, air filter, etc. The Dealer calls this the "winter special" and it will run close to 2300. The race Tuner alone is 500.00 & that includes setting it up.

If your doing all of that for 2300 installed that is the deal of the century. Heads $950, race tuner $500, Jugs$300 Cams $299, pistons$300, air filter $135 plus clutch, gasket set, compression releases and labor!!! WOW!!! Now thats a deal!!!

I thought it was a nice price and paid for everything up-front including tax. I asked about the price & told the service manager that I did not want any change when the bike was done. He assured me that there would not be any. Most shops down here run performance specials in the winter.
