Its really hard to beleive that you can get that done for that price. Parts alone are close to your price something does not add up here heads pistons cams and cylinders also a race tunner and more for $2300 unreal price I can have them done thare and add 500 dollars to the job and still make a lot of people happy

ORIGINAL: Bighorse

Cams, heads, cylinders, pistons, rings, performance clutch spring, air filter, etc. The Dealer calls this the "winter special" and it will run close to 2300. The race Tuner alone is 500.00 & that includes setting it up.

That is the deal of the century. I know our local dealer is close to 5K for the 103" upgrade. The dealers clean up of these upgrades and most people do them in stages so it costs them twice as much that way.

I do think Latus motors in Portland will do the 95" for 1500+ but I don't think that includes cams or special heads, not sure about that price. They are on the web and give pricing under service specials.

Stage 1 95in. >cylinders, pistons, rings, air cleaner, breather , hardware and gaskets (no heads) $1,200.00. With heads add $300.00. That includes labor but not sure about tax.

This is an impossible price first you said 2300 with heads and cams now its 1600 this is impossible. Harley screamin eagle heads are 1100 to 1200 dollars alone. the winter specials i see that are in the price range your talking about 2300 is the big bore kit with stage one and tuner no heads. I really cannot believe this price. I am best of friends with the service manager at my Harley dealer he said no way. The cheapest one we came across was from a place in Boston for a big bore kit with stage one and tuner $2000.00 and that would be a rock bottom price. I would check again to see what your getting but special or not you cannot get the package your talking about for 2300.00 with labor included at any Harley dealer on this planet. Please send me this dealers name I want to talk to them at them prices ill be able to make some money if they are any where near me.

I have it in writing. Why do you suppose I paid everything up front including the tax? I shopped around for prices (three other dealers). This will be the fourth day that they have had the bike and I'm waiting to hear from them. Maybe I should tell them that the price isn't right? lol. I'll post what the results are as soon as I find out.

Are they new screaming eagle heads or are they porting the stock ones. There's 500-600 dollar difference right there. If they screwed up the math you were smart to pay that in advance and get it in writing.

This may be paranoid , but ask for the original parts back and there will be no question what was replaced! Or do some parts need to be exchanged??

They finished my bike yesterday and will dyno it in the morning. Reading from my invoice>1550 upgrade, cylinders, pistons (flatops 10.3) 211 cams, screamin eagle heads, clutch diaphroam, performance spring and race tuner at 1/2 price ($225.00) because it wasn't suppose to be in the package.>total>$2300.00. The guy said he expects to see 90 HP...Will know in the mornin. Work done by Trenton Harley in Trenton, New Jersey.
