So I want to relocate my ignition, is this a difficult mod, what is the process, also any Ideas on were to put horn? any info would be greatly appreciated
thank
I did that mod this past winter. Not bad at all. I moved it to the horn location, and just scrapped the horn, I've never used the damn thing anyway.
I removed the false seat post/OE coil mount bracket and cut it up to make the bracket for the new location. I faced the wires down, so I had to swap the firing order of the coil. Pretty simple, just switch the wire in the plug labeled "3" and "4" (I believe). Got new pins for the plug at the stealer and crimped as best I could and then soldered. Here's some pics, not sure they'll help much, but feel free to ask me any questions you'd like.
