so i went to a HD dealer today to acquire a detachable passenger backrest. and the dude tells me the my deuce is the bastard child of the HD family cause they didnt make many parts for this thing....WHAT AM I TO DO NOW? p.s id like saddles bags too
they make them but they bolt right to the fender under the seat, they have hard bags for that bike also. find a parts guy that actually knows what he's doing and wants to do it
Go to hd website.. Got to parts and acc. Plug in your yr model deuce and theres plenty of parts. Get the part number and buy online somewhere if the parts guy at ur dealer doesn't want to help...

Actually the parts guy is right. I assume he means quick detach, and they don't for a deuce.
And before the wise guys join in yes everything is detachable

This link will go to side plates for a deuce. Once installed you can put any style sissy bar back rest you like. I have tried the one BD sells and It's pretty worthless. Look at the pics on my profile.
Yeah, man, I think he was right. HD does not make a quick detach sissy or bags. You will have to make something work or go with hard mount. Lots of options just not quick detach.
thats exactly what i felt about the dude...hey is that a pic of ur scoot?
Yes thats my bike, and they are correct, its not a detachable one. as I said it bolts to the rear fender, and the saddle bags are fixed too, I think. but anything can be made detachable. as well as the cyclevisions one right here in san diego.
PS
click on my garage and I have more pics of the bike
